Jon Gosselin is finally speaking out his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, and how he feels she’s treated their eight kids. The 42-year-old slammed Kate in a new interview, now that a decade-long gag order has finally lifted.
Jon claimed in the interview that Kate, 44, was “militant” with the children. “It’s time America found out the truth about Kate, she isn’t the person you think she is,” he said of his ex, who now has another show, Kate Plus Date.
Many of Jon’s most intense claims centered around their 15-year-old son Collin. Jon confessed that he was heartbroken to learn that Kate had sent their son to a behavioral camp in Philadelphia behind his back. Collin was there for three years.
At the time, Jon had no legal rights to change the situation. He ordered his lawyers to fight for joint custody. The DJ now has full custody of both Collin and daughter Hannah. The other sextuplets — Aaden, Joel, Alexis, and Leah — still live with Kate, while 18-year-old twins Mady and Cara went off to college.

Jon claimed that, when Kate said Collin had behavioral problems, his only known disorder was ADHD. But Jon said he now suffers from PTSD because of the alleged abuse he experienced during those three years. He also claimed that Kate abused and targeted Hannah, as well.

“I know my children have suffered abuse and I know one day they’re going to tell their own story,” Jon said. “And sadly enough, I know what PTSD is. It’s really upsetting.”

“Other than ADHD, which is extremely common, Collin has never been diagnosed with any known medical condition, there’s nothing wrong with him,” Jon said. “But Kate sent him away, she couldn’t deal with him. He was alone for three and a half years with no parents, all locked up. It was inhumane.”

Jon has no contact with the four kids who still live with Kate. “I think Kate has really poisoned my children’s minds against me,” he claimed. “She’s put stuff in their minds about my personality. I never cheated on my wife, I’m not a monster, I love my children more than anything.”

Jon and Kate finalized their divorce and custody agreement in 2009. As part of the deal, Jon agreed to a 10-year gag order, which kept him from speaking out about his ex in the past.

“I know everything. I lived it with her and without her. So I know every single thing that has transpired and what has been portrayed to the American public, it’s not all true,” he claimed.

He claimed Kate was extremely controlling and that growing up in a reality television environment was bad for the kids. “It’s going to be difficult because they’ve been isolated so much and they haven’t been taught those life skills,” he said about his kids becoming adults.
