Kate Gosselin’s child-filled house is losing two more members. Just months after Hannah and Collin went to live with their dad Jon, twins Mady and Cara are headed off to separate colleges in New York City.

Kate, 44, told People, “They’re both so excited. They agreed all along that they don’t want to go to the same school, because their ambitions are different.”

But the reality star admitted she had “mixed emotions” about letting the 18-year-old twins go.

“Within six days Mady has to be dropped off, Cara has to be dropped off, and the little kids begin their first day of high school,” she said about the hectic time.

“Keeping straight the deadlines and dates for two different schools is mind-blowing. The best advice I’ve heard is not to feel too obligated to stay. The kids don’t really want that; eventually you have to be the one to drive away,” Kate said about dropping the girls off in New York.

“We are all going to miss them. I don’t care if they only come home to see the dog — as long as they come home!” she joked.

Kate will still have the other four quintuplets at home : Alexis, Leah, Joel and Aaden. They reportedly are not in contact with their dad.
