Natasha Lyonne went from a red carpet in Los Angeles, California, to getting booted off an airplane for displaying alleged concerning behavior, according to a new report.
On Thursday, April 9, Page Six claimed Lyonne — who reportedly appears as a guest star in season 3 of the HBO series Euphoria — boarded a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to New York City on April 8 and was seated in first class when flight attendants became concerned about her lack of communication with the crew.
Before takeoff, the 47-year-old actress was asked to put away her laptop and fasten her seatbelt but did not respond, the outlet reported.
An eyewitness claimed multiple crew members attempted to get Lyonne’s attention as she appeared to be falling asleep. At one point, per the eyewitness, Lyonne became startled, and said, “Ah! You scared me.”
Her laptop was eventually removed and the plane taxied to the runway before returning to the gate.
A Delta staff member then asked if she needed medical attention before telling her, “Ma’am, I need you to come off the plane. Do you need help with your belongings?”
Lyonne was reportedly overheard asking, “Where are we?”

“We’re still in L.A. The plane hasn’t gone anywhere. The plane is not going anywhere until you come off it,” she was reportedly told.
Lyonne went to the bathroom and came out eating pretzels before complying and exiting the plane. The flight was delayed one hour, per the report, with the captain alerting passengers, “We have a passenger who for whatever reason … wouldn’t follow some basic commands … We had a passenger who didn’t seem up to the task tonight so that’s why they were asked to be booked on another flight — I do apologize for the inconvenience, but we will get you to New York as quickly and as safely as possible.”
A representative for Lyonne has not yet commented on the incident.
“Proud to report this kid is doing a whole lot better & back on her feet,” Lyonne posted on Thursday, March 19. “Want to thank our recovery communities & the fans who stood by & were so supportive. Aiming to keep the journey somehow private, but look forward to sharing my experience, strength & hope as makes sense. My heart is with everyone ever going through it.”
