Hulk Hogan‘s estate is still tangled in legal battles one year after his death.
Mike Tyson‘s cannabis company, Tyson 2.0 — which was formed under parent company Carma HoldCo — jointly filed paperwork with Hogan’s estate last week asking a court to extend the company’s deadline to pursue its claim that the Hogan estate owes it $10 million. Tyson 2.0 first filed the claim on January 22.
Hogan’s estate swiftly objected to the “meritless” claim, according to a report Page Six published on Friday, July 24, though the two sides have since agreed to extend Tyson 2.0’s deadline multiple times.

On Wednesday, the judge approved the request, giving Tyson 2.0 until October 21 to file an action, per the outlet. The parties have also scheduled mediation “to guide resolution of the claim,” set for on or around September 21.
In 2023, Hogan had entered into a licensing deal with Carma HoldCo to launch his own health, wellness, and cannabis-alternative product line including his own beer brand, but that deal fell apart and Tyson accused former Carma executives of poaching the idea, per Page Six.
Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, died July 24, 2025, at 71 after suffering cardiac arrest. He shared daughter Brooke and son Nick with his first wife, Linda, whom he was married to from 1983 until their divorce in 2009. Hogan later married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010, and the pair divorced in 2021, before he wed Sky Daily in 2023.

According to the article, he left behind roughly $5 million in assets, with Nick named the sole beneficiary and Sky listed as his surviving spouse. Although Brooke, 38, was excluded from the will, she later said, as Star reported, she had requested it herself to avoid fighting over her father’s finances.
“I think everybody very clearly understands that I was my dad’s protector and I loved him more than anything,” Brooke said, per Page Six, adding, “The reason why I regret it, is because I do not have a place now to get answers.”
She said she can no longer make “any decisions” about her father’s legacy: “The people that I didn’t trust are now all controlling it, and it’s terrible.”
On Thursday, July 23, Brooke posted a tribute to Instagram ahead of the first anniversary of his death: “Maybe…in another lifetime…in a parallel universe…another dimension… we’re together right now. Watching sunsets, belly laughing, you’re smacking my leg in the passenger seat to the beat of a Mother’s Finest song, we’re going to sushi just us. We’re in that perfect space where no one comes between us, before us, or after us… and it’s just me and my daddy. You are just you. No pain, no worries, no one chasing you, bothering you, pulling you.”
Nick, 35, shared his own tribute to Instagram on Friday, July 24, writing in part: “My father is not just the greatest wrestler of all time but also, the best dad a guy could have ever had. I am so grateful and blessed to have had him as my dad and to have the honor of being his son. I will always cherish the memories, lessons and values that he gave me and start each day with the purpose and intention to use them to the best of my ability. I will love and miss him every single day of my life and carry him with me in my heart until I see him again. Team Hogan. 4 Life.”
