Some of the most talked-about wedding photos of the year may never see the light of day.
Taylor Swift has reasons for keeping the official pictures from her wedding to Travis Kelce private, according to a report published on Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack on Wednesday, October 28. The outlet put the cost of the celebration at $30 million.
“Instead of celebrating her marriage, people could be questioning her wealth, her spending and whether she still understands how the rest of America lives,” a source told Shuter.

Swift, 36, was also upset when images from inside the event came out, even though guests and workers had signed nondisclosure agreements, per the report.
“Taylor was furious because this was supposed to be a tightly controlled, private celebration,” the source told Naughty But Nice. “Everyone had been told to keep quiet, and the NDAs were there for a reason.”
A second source explained the bigger picture.
“Taylor understands that controlling the image is part of protecting the brand,” that source told Shuter. “Sometimes, what you choose not to show the world becomes a bigger story than anything you reveal.”

The couple married at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 3. The Daily Mail published images that showed the venue transformed into a forest with a two-tiered carousel, a man-made pond beneath the altar and rows of real and fake trees.
After the wedding, Kelce, 37, and Swift had millions of dollars in florals and decor shipped from New York to Pennsylvania and burned, the Daily Mail reported. “The fact that no one has relics of it and it all had to get burned and properly disposed of is kind of crazy,” a source said, per the outlet.
