Todd and Julie Chrisley are facing criticism following a recent musical performance.
On Wednesday, January 14, the two reality TV stars were unmasked as the croissant couple on Fox’s The Masked Singer.
The husband-and-wife duo sang Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock” wearing black-and-white striped outfits. Onstage before being unmasked, Todd, 56, remarked, “I think it’s wonderful to be here and to make everyone laugh and have a good time,” Julie, 53, chimed in, “and to be able to do it together.”
Clips of the reveal were posted to the TV show’s Instagram page, and fans took to the comment section, unhappy that the former Chrisley Knows Best stars were invited on the show after their stint in federal prison.

“Why? They should still be in prison,” one commented.
“@maskedsingerfox how shameful that you give felons a platform,” a second wrote.
“They were a bold choice in this climate,” a third noted.
“No more controversial unmaskings this season, please…” another added.

Regardless of the backlash, the couple enjoyed their experience on the singing competition show, both sharing separate Instagram posts saying they “had an amazing time.”
As Star previously reported, Todd and Chrisley were convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022. Todd was serving a 12-year sentence at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, while Julie was serving a 7-year sentence at Kentucky’sFederal Medical Center, Lexington. However, the couple was fully pardoned by President Donald Trump in May.
