Kyle Cooke apparently has a theory about why his estranged wife got together with their Summer House castmate — and he didn’t come up with it himself.

The Bravo star took to Threads to endorse a fan theory posted by user anna.lepeach, who argued that West Wilson recognized Amanda Batula was becoming a sympathetic figure amid her marital struggles and strategically positioned himself as her supportive hero.

The fan wrote that Wilson realized Batula “may come out of this season with the fame and opportunity akin to Ariana Madix” and “decides to lean into looking like a supportive friend and hero for Amanda so he can weasel his way into capitalizing on her after-season success.”

The fan added, “You cannot convince me otherwise.”

Cooke, 43, responded to the post, writing, “Of all the ‘theories’ this is what I believe.” In the post, he pointed fans to his street interview with Adam Glyn on April 1, where he said he discussed Wilson attempting to be “a knight in shining armor and saying what women want to hear.”

Cooke added that Wilson “hitched his wagon to Amanda” and endorsed a Reddit user’s characterization that Wilson “white-knighted too far.”

The Threads exchange arrived on the heels of part one of the Summer House season 10 reunion, which aired Tuesday, May 26.

As Star previously reported, Ciara Miller, 30, delivered a brutal assessment of why her ex-boyfriend and former best friend’s romance could actually work. Miller said Batula, 34, is “very mute” and would be “that weak figure that he needs,” adding that Batula is “not going to check him on anything.”

Miller’s comments visibly stunned Cooke. “That was a little harsh,” he told her quietly.

Miller and Wilson, 31, previously dated during season 8 of Summer House but split after Wilson hesitated to commit. Meanwhile, Batula and Cooke announced their separation in January after 10 years together. Despite the split, the couple have yet to file for divorce, though Batula revealed during the reunion that she has secured a legal team.

Two more reunion episodes are scheduled to air on Bravo on Tuesday, June 2, and Tuesday, June 9.
