Meghan Markle isn’t doing herself any favors in Hollywood by acting snooty and entitled with her peers, a source tells Star.
According to the source, the Duchess of Sussex, 45, routinely refuses invitations to appear on celebrity podcasts and offends a lot of people in the process.
“She’s afraid to go on other people’s shows where she’ll get asked tough questions in a long-form setting,” reveals the source.

Meghan’s own attempts at breaking into the industry were not well-received by critics for that very reason.
The Times of London called Archetypes‘ debut episode a “tastefully sound-tracked parade of banalities, absurdities and self-aggrandizing California platitudes” while The Telegraph branded Confessions of a Female Founder‘s series premiere “superficial filler.”
“Meghan is too guarded and too self-controlled to succeed in the podcasting world,” explains the source. “Everything she says and does is so manicured and rehearsed that nobody will ever look to her for authentic moments. In podcasting, that’s a death sentence!”

Meghan, however, just “isn’t willing to go to those lengths,” Star‘s source says.
“It’s frustrating to the people who work directly with her that she won’t make a few easy, harmless moves to fix her odious reputation, but it is what it is,” admits the source, noting that the As ever founder “doesn’t have anybody in her life,” not even Prince Harry, “who can sit down with her and change her mind.”
