The Kardashian family opted for a more low-key Christmas Eve this year.
On Wednesday, December 24, Khloé Kardashian revealed to her 300 million Instagram followers that the annual bash — which was held at Kendall Jenner‘s home this year — was not going to be as extravagant as it has been in the past.
“We are not doing a big Christmas Eve party this year because we just had my mom [Kris Jenner]’s huge 70th, and we just wanted something more intimate,” the Good American founder, 41, revealed.

“So we’re doing just family,” she continued. “But, of course, we have to still be so dressed up because that’s what we love to do. And so we are just celebrating the holiday very glam and fab.”
On her Instagram Story, Khloé showed off her elegant ensemble, which included a formfitting strapless white dress and sparkly accessories.
She also asked daughter True, 7 — whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson — and niece Dream, 9 (the daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna) to show off their outfits for the camera. Instead, they tried to sneak in the popular “6-7” trend.

Kourtney Kardashian also posted to her Instagram before heading to the annual soirée.
“Merry Christmas Eve,” Travis Barker’s wife, 46, captioned a carousel of herself in the kitchen. “Making my grandma Helen Kardashian’s famous Beeshee dough so that it can rise for tomorrow morning on the way out the door to our Christmas Eve party !!”
Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner also made appearances at Kendall’s home, and members of the family shared a few photo-booth snapshots to their Instagram Stories throughout the evening.

The famous family has become well-known for the holiday extravaganza, which was first held at Kris’ house.
Last month, the Kardashians went all out for the momager’s milestone birthday held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s multimillion-dollar estate.
The guest list was as star-studded as expected, featuring Adele, Paris Hilton, NaomiWatts, Snoop Dogg, Gayle King, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, Bruno Mars and more.
