Nikki Glaser just made a major career move, leaving United Talent Agency for WME.
On Tuesday, August 11, a source told Page Sixthat “Nikki fired UTA without warning” on Monday, and that members of her team didn’t know this was happening.
The Emmy-nominated comedian, 42, had been with the talent agency since 2018. “Crazy considering what UTA built for her the last five years,” the source added.

While at UTA, Glaser became the first woman to ever host the Golden Globe Awards solo in 2025 after delivering a memorable set for the 2024 Netflix special The Roast of Tom Brady. She hosted the Golden Globes again in 2026 and will host the award show in 2027. She has also ventured into acting and voiceover work.
A second insider noted, “Nobody can figure it out,” while a third source pointed out UTA “turned her from a respected comedian into a mainstream cultural force.”

However, some sources told the outlet that over the years, she’s built a close relationship with WME executives.
Glaser has signed with WME in all areas, including comedy, motion pictures, television, books and literary media, brand partnerships, podcasting, music, and more. Numerous other A-list comedians are repped by the agency, including Adam Sandler, Amy Schumer, Chris Rock and Tina Fey.
Currently, Glaser is on the North American leg of her The Stunning Tour, which wraps up in December. She has yet to make a public statement about switching up agencies.
