Nikki Glaser is the latest star to say goodbye to Hollywood. The comedian opened up about her decision to move out of Los Angeles and back to her hometown of St. Louis.
“I live in St. Louis,” Glaser, 41, said during her Wednesday, April 22 appearance on Live! With Kelly and Mark. “I moved back to St. Louis after Covid and kind of just got away from it all. And I’ve stayed there.”
“There was a lot of free tickets that I had to comp,” she told cohost Mark Consuelos, explaining that everyone from high school friends to her pilates instructor wanted to be in the audience. “I didn’t make a lot of money.”
“[Living here] is just wanting to focus on my family while they’re still around and healthy, and want to hang out with me,” she said during an August 2025 appearance on St. Louis on the Air. “It’s also just being in a town where what podcast [you have], what spots you’re doing that night, what parties you’re going to, what red carpets you’re attending — doesn’t matter. That’s not here, and that’s not what people value here. And it just recalibrates me.”
