Kourtney Kardashian has admitted she felt unprepared for motherhood when she had her son Mason and relied on her “maternal instinct”.
In a candid admission during the latest episode of The Kardashians reality TV series, the mother-of-four opened up on her parenting style and how it had changed over the years
Kardashian, 46, said: “When I was 30, and I had Mason, nobody told me what to do, I didn’t read any books, but the way that I felt, my maternal instinct, was to do attachment parenting.”

“Before I had [my daughter] Penelope though, I read the attachment parenting book and it was more intentional,” she added. “And even though I was working, I didn’t really think it was an option to not work. Now, I have the option not to work, and I feel grateful to be able to find what I connect to.”
The Lemme founder had Mason, 15, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick.
She shares two-year-old son Rocky with husband TravisBarker and revealed earlier this month he was still being breastfed.
