Britney Spears Says Botox Left Her Eye Drooping for Four Weeks: ‘So Embarrassing’

Britney Spears is warning fans to be careful with Botox after saying a recent cosmetic procedure left one of her eyes drooping for weeks.

The “Toxic” hitmaker, 44, took to Instagram on August 7, to share a video about her experience.

“Because he put so much Botox in this left eye that it drooped down like that,” she said while pressing her fingers to her left eye. “And it’s just now starting to raise up and be normal again. It’s so embarrassing.”

Spears urged anyone considering Botox to proceed with caution.

She added, “Girls, you have to be careful if you do Botox. These people and these doctors, they can really [expletive] your eyes up.”

Spears said her eye remained droopy for about four weeks before it finally began returning to normal.

“My eye was, like, down like this for four weeks. It’s, just now, starting to rise again. Be careful with these people,” the Crossroads star explained. “They try to change, like, your face. Be careful with your bodies, because it’s yours and you own it. So, that’s it.”

She captioned the post, “You can’t trust anyone!!!”

The video came just hours after Spears reflected on another painful chapter of her life in a series of text-filled posts on X.

As reported by Star, the posts began with a throwback photo of her two sons, Sean Preston Federline, now 20, and Jayden James Federline, now 19, as young boys wearing bathing suits at the beach.

“Those two little bodies came out of my belly … Yes, they are mine … Unfortunately it wasn’t until 5 years ago that I saw they were secretly taken to the beach by my mom and dad … The whole summer,” Spears wrote.

“The pictures I saw of my mom and dad in secret on the beach the whole summer with my children every weekend … I wondered why I wasn’t a part of their cool secret outings … I felt demoralized to live in a country where it was accepted for people like my mom and dad to live secret lives with my children,” she continued. “I honestly went to my knees and cried for two months.”

Spears also reflected on her 13-year conservatorship, which was overseen by her father, Jamie Spears, 74.

“Society doesn’t understand the real effects to this very day of the rights and freedoms anyone should be able to have … I never got to be me, the real Spears,” she wrote. “I used to be unbelievably intelligent and 100 percent I was brainwashed into an ignorant system where every [expletive] person took advantage of me … I firmly believe I am an angel, and it hurts.”
