Elsie Hewitt Gives Surprise Shout-Out to ‘Baby Daddy’ Pete Davidson After Coparenting Tension
Elsie Hewitt appears to be extending an olive branch to ex Pete Davidson after previously suggesting she was navigating motherhood largely on her own.
The model, 30, shared a sweet update via Instagram on Tuesday, August 18, revealing that her and the comedian’s 8-month-old daughter, Scottie, crawled for the first time to Olivia Dean‘s music. She capped off the post by publicly thanking her ex for scoring her tickets to Dean’s Madison Square Garden concert, referring to Davidson, 32, as her “baby daddy.”
The gesture suggests the exes have settled into an easier rhythm since calling it quits in May.
Hewitt and Davidson’s romance began in March 2025, after they were spotted together in Palm Beach, Florida. They made their red carpet debut two months later at the Blossom Ball in New York City and announced they were expecting in July 2025. Scottie arrived that December, named in honor of the King of Staten Island star’s late father, Scott, a firefighter who died responding to the September 11 terrorist attacks.
In May, Hewitt suggested she had been handling the demands of motherhood without much help from the former Saturday Night Live alum, telling her TikTok followers she has a baby to care for while also needing to work and earn money. “And I’m doing it on my own, which is hard,” she said.
Though an insider previously told Star that Davidson felt “embarrassed and on edge” over being publicly painted as a “deadbeat dad,” it seems the pair are working together to raise their child in peace now. The exes “are focused on co-parenting Scottie together,” a source told Star, explaining that Davidson “financially supports both Elsie and Scottie, with Scottie as his top priority,” adding that he’s “been a supportive co-parent for Elsie and a constant presence in Scottie’s life.”
Scoring tickets for a mom’s night out appears to be a step in the right direction.
