Pink may have made a splash during her guest-hosting stint on The Kelly Clarkson Show, but it seems all good things eventually come to an end.
When it comes to the rumors that the “So What” singer, 46, would take over when host Kelly Clarkson’s titular show comes to an end after its seventh season, a source told journalist Rob Shuter, “That story was pure fantasy.”
A Saturday, March 14, report in Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack claims, via the source, that “the entire syndication system is disappearing.”
According to multiple reports, NBCUniversal has announced the end of first-run syndicated shows including Access Hollywood and its offshoot Access Live, The Steve Wilkos Show and Karamo.
“Stations don’t want expensive daytime talk shows anymore,” a media insider told Shuter. “They want cheaper local programming, news, or something they can stream.”

Pink previously shut down rumors that she’d be taking over for the “Since U Been Gone” singer, 43.
“Hi, everybody,” Pink said in a since-deleted social media video. “Just in a continuation of debunking all of the ‘sources’ that we’ve got going on in the world, I’m not taking over The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
“I’m doing a fun thing for my buddy Kelly because it’s a fun thing,” Pink continued. “If I wanted a talk show, I would not have to audition. I would just have one, and it would be amazing, not something I’m currently researching or looking for in my busy, busy, busy world.”
Pink, who was poolside in the video alongside daughter Willow Sage Hart, 14, concluded, “Yeah, we’re a little busy. We love you! Bye.”
