Meghan Markle and Prince Harry landed in South Africa on September 23 with baby Archie in tow. Their arrival marked the beginning of their royal tour of Africa, their very first with their four-month-old son at their side.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who married in May 2018, will be in Africa for 10 days. They were spotted at the airport in Cape Town, South Africa, on Monday morning. Meghan, 38, had baby Archie cradled in her arms. He wore a white knit hat to keep his head warm.
After landing, they left Archie with a nanny and headed out for their first event in Nyanga Township for a workshop with an NGO called Justice Desk. The program teaches children about self-awareness and safety, which includes teaching self-defense classes and helping foster women’s empowerment. The organization is one of the many supported by the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, which Harry and Meghan are both involved with.
