Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s royal tour of Australia continues! Today, October 22, the Duke of Sussex flew solo on a trip into the Fraser Island rainforest as his pregnant duchess rested at their luxe hotel. Harry, 34, was formally welcomed to Fraser Island, or K'Gari as its known to the native Butchella people. It's the largest sand island in the world and has over 206 thousand acres of protected forest.

Harry took part in a dedication for the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy initiative, a growing area of protected forests across the 53 Commonwealth states.

He seemed chuffed to meet all the children and locals involved in
the traditional ceremony, though surely he missed having Meghan by his side.

Over the weekend the couple announced that, as the tour moved into its second week, Meghan might sit out of some engagements because of her pregnancy.
Royal reporters on Twitter said the former
Suits actress missed the ceremony because the road into the forest was long and bumpy.

Harry literally brought his dad jokes with him. He quipped as he revealed the plaque, "Luckily we are highly skilled in unveiling plaques, it runs in the family." Both his dad Prince Charles and grandfather Prince Philip have joked about that before.

Meghan, 37, must have been feeling better later in the day as she and Harry walked around to meet some of the islands' residents. She put one hand on her baby bump as she held onto Harry.
