“The invitations follow many years of Royal tradition and have been made by Barnard Westwood,” Kensington Palace tweeted alongside a photo of the royal invite. “They feature the Three-Feathered Badge of the Prince of Wales printed in gold ink.”

24-year-old Lottie Small, who recently completed her apprenticeship, printed the 600 invitations in a process known as die stamping, on a machine from the 1930s that she affectionately nicknamed Maude.

Lottie spoke to The Daily telegraph of her coveted task and said: “The worst part was keeping it from Mum. With anything else, she’d be the first person I would call and she’d share in my excitement.”
Following the nuptials 600 people have been invited to the service and luncheon, which will be hosted by the Queen at St. George’s Hall and later that evening, about 200 guest will attend a private reception given by Prince Charles at Frogmore House on the castle grounds.
