Michael Jackson’s daughter, 27, looked back on her journey with an Instagram Reel shared to her 5.7 million followers on Sunday, January 4.
“Getting sober ain’t always the indication that life is perfect,” the Wilted artist captioned a video compilation, which featured candid moments of herself with friends, at home and songwriting.
“A few years in it all got very very hard,” she admitted. “For what felt like an eternity. and i didn’t have the same survival skills i was used to having to cope. i had to learn to live life on life’s terms.”

“Treatment resistant major depressive disorder is a bitch,” she said, before alluding to the other mental health conditions she deals with. “So is CPSTD [Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder]. and OCD [Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder]. if you’ve got this s**t, or anything of the sort, you’re not alone. hang in there and if no one’s told you they love you today, i love you.”
Taylor Lautner was among those to congratulate Paris in the comments section of her post, adding raised-hands and heart-hands emojis.
Another person asked in Paris’ comments, “What’s your main message for people battling addiction?”
The singer replied, “The bottom is when you stop digging. put down the shovel.”
The model, who will mark her sobriety anniversary on Wednesday, January 7, shared a similar post last year.

Opening up about her addictions, she stated, “Hi, i’m pk and i’m an alcoholic and a heroin addict.”
At the time, Paris said that she was “clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol,” adding: “To say that i’m thankful would be a poor euphemism.”
To mark the end of 2025, Paris shared a carousel of images to Instagram that were taken at her shows throughout the year.
In the caption, she wrote, “One of the best years of shows i’ve ever had. even flew to london for 24hrs just to see my fav band play by myself. thanks 2025.”
