A judge partially dismissed some of Paris Jackson’s claims against the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate on Thursday, November 13, according to documents obtained by Star.
The singer and actress, 27, had questioned several alleged financial gifts given to the estate’s attorneys by Executors John Branca and John McClain, and wanted to compel them to file petitions authorizing payments of legal fees going back more than five years.
Paris argued that because the filings took so long to be processed, she and her brothers, Prince, 28, and Bigi, 23, had no oversight into what was happening with their father’s fortune.

Branca and McClain have argued that they inherited a debt-ridden estate and turned it into “a powerhouse and a force in the music business today.”
The judge mostly sided with the executors regarding Paris’ most recent petition, ruling that her argument was based on filings that are protected by California’s anti-SLAPP law, which prevents frivolous lawsuits.
The American Horror Stories alum has been ordered to pay the attorney’s fees. However, Paris has “received roughly $65 million” in benefits since the pop icon’s death, according to Branca and McClain — so she will, in effect, be paying the estate with the estate’s money.
“This order is limited to minor procedural issues and does not change the facts: the pattern of behavior displayed by the executors and their attorneys raises significant red flags, and Paris will continue working to ensure her family is treated fairly. We will be submitting an updated filing shortly,” Paris’ spokesperson said in a statement to People.
