Paris Jackson’s Family Rift Over Michael’s $2 Billion Estate Deepens Amid Broken Engagement

Paris Jackson recently ended her nearly three-year relationship to fiancé Justin Long — and according to sources, the breakup was fueled by a growing storm of money, manipulation and family tensions.

While the 27-year-old singer and model confirmed the split on July 31, Star has learned that the drama swirling around her has little to do with Long himself — and everything to do with the vast fortune left behind by her late father, Michael Jackson.

The King of Pop died unexpectedly in 2009 at 50 years old. Despite reports that he was $500 million in debt at the time of his death, People states that his estate is now valued at around $2 billion.

Contrary to popular belief, Star can confirm that Paris will not automatically inherit her portion of Michael’s massive fortune when she turns 30. At some point in the future, Paris may receive a partial distribution of her inheritance, but for now, the estate’s funds are being invested and managed by court approved executors.

The real pressure on Paris is said to be coming from Michael’s siblings — relatives who are not beneficiaries of the late pop star’s estate but who see his only daughter as vulnerable and an easy target for undue influence. They cannot legally claim any of Michael’s fortune for themselves, but they are believed to be urging Paris to push for greater access to estate funds, desperately hoping they might personally benefit if she succeeds.

Adding to the intrigue is the role of Paris’s personal attorney and business advisor, Craig Peters.

Observers note there may be arrangements between them, with suggestions that he, too, could be angling for a piece of the Jackson fortune. Paris — who has faced personal struggles and admits she often leaves her financial affairs in the hands of her lawyer — may be unknowingly opening herself up to manipulation.

This latest chapter comes on the heels of Paris marking five years of sobriety from alcohol and “all drugs.” In a candid Instagram post earlier this year, Paris introduced herself as “an alcoholic and a heroin addict.”

Star has reached out to Paris’s personal attorney, but he has not responded.
