Prince Harry and Prince William’s Relationship Is ‘So Broken’ With ‘No Movement’ Amid Estrangement

It doesn’t seem like Prince Harry and Prince William will be mending fences anytime soon.

Though the Duke of Sussex, 41, was recently back in the United Kingdom and reunited with his father, King Charles III, seeing his brother, 44, appeared to be out of the question.

In a People story published Wednesday, July 15, an insider said that the brothers’ relationship is “so broken.”

Harry and the Prince of Wales have appeared to be estranged since Harry and wife Meghan Markle, 44, stepped back from their senior royal duties in 2020 and moved to California.

Things only worsened after the release of Harry’s bombshell 2023 memoir Spare, which shed light on his complicated relationship with the crown.

“I thought it would have perhaps eased a little bit by now, to be honest,” a source who knows both brothers told People. “But there has been no movement, especially on William’s side.”

“There is no contact,” the source claimed.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that the king, 77, and his wife, Queen Camilla, hosted the Sussexes last week at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England.

It marked the first in-person meeting between Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, and their grandfather in four years.

However, it seems like William has no interest in getting his three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8, whom he shares with Princess Kate, 44 — together with their cousins.

People reported that the children have no relationship despite being first cousins.

Harry and William’s mother, the late Princess Diana, “would be devastated that it has turned out like this,” royal author Simon Vigar told the publication, “particularly because [the brothers] were once so close.”
