Britney Spears Fuels Baby Buzz With Cryptic Post One Month After Revealing She Wants ‘Another’ Child

Britney Spears has babies on the brain.

The “Toxic” singer, 44, took to Instagram on Thursday, July 16, with a cryptic post hinting at the possibility of expanding her family.

Spears, who is already a mom to sons Sean Preston , 20, and Jayden James, 19, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, shared a photo carousel, which included images of a newborn onesie.

“If you’re lucky I have someone unbelievably beautiful I want to introduce you to… hopefully🤞 this year 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️,” the singer captioned the slideshow. “And if not, the most beautiful things will never be seen!!!!!”

The photo set featured a throwback snap of Spears cuddling her son Sean, along with a piece of art depicting a woman opening a shell to reveal a sleeping infant. The “Crossroads” star also shared a video of herself doing a backflip, as well as a photo of two hands holding and another image of her youngest son.

“Come what may…,” she continued. “Oh so near but the feet I feel lived too much in fear so the soil of ground that silence suspends is where I’m found yet there begin!!!! It’s in the silence!!!!!!”

The post comes one month after Spears expressed her desire to have another child.

Taking to Instagram in a since-deleted Father’s Day post, Spears told her followers that she hopes to have “another baby” one day, Star reported at the time. 

In the video, which has since been removed from her grid, the pop star was seen dancing in a yellow slip dress and black boots while holding a tiny guitar. Spears, who is no stranger to wearing minimal clothing on her page, nearly had a wardrobe malfunction as she danced, with one strap of her dress slipping off her shoulder while she gyrated in a fedora hat.

Following the bizarre post, a source close to Spears spoke to Star and said that the “Gimme More” singer’s family is “horrified” over her desire to have another child.

Still, Spears is “deadly serious” about expanding her family, the source noted.

“She believes she can still get pregnant naturally, but if that doesn’t happen quickly, she’s willing to go down the surrogate or adoption route,” the source shared, adding that Spears is currently in the process of “interviewing various deadbeats” to fill the role of father.

Her family’s concerns come not long after Spears was arrested on March 4 for driving under the influence in Ventura, California. On April 12, she voluntarily checked into a rehab facility in Maine, where she stayed for roughly three weeks. The pop star later pleaded guilty to a wet reckless charge on May 4, accepting a sentence of one year of informal probation and 30 hours of alcohol school.

“To add a baby into the mix when she’s clearly still deeply troubled is absolute madness,” the source continued. “How can she possibly raise a baby when she can’t even take care of herself?”

The source also noted that her family and friends are willing to do whatever it takes to stop her, even if that means taking legal action.

“A core group of family and friends are determined to put a stop to her baby plans,” the source added. “Even if that means going down the legal route again.”
