Britney Spears ‘Deadly Serious’ About Having Another Child, Family Is ‘Horrified’

Britney Spears recently wrote on Instagram about wanting “another baby” — and a source says the startling admission has left the “Gimme More” singer’s family “horrified.”

Spears, 44, made the confession on Sunday, June 21, otherwise known as Father’s Day 2026, pairing her words with a strange video of herself dancing in a slip dress.

“Britney is deadly serious,” insists the source. “She believes she can still get pregnant naturally, but if that doesn’t happen quickly, she’s willing to go down the surrogate or adoption route.”

Already a mom to sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, the Crossroads actress is currently in the process of “interviewing various deadbeats” to fill the role of father, claims the source.

“To add a baby into the mix when she’s clearly still deeply troubled is absolute madness,” the source declares. “How can she possibly raise a baby when she can’t even take care of herself?”

As Star previously reported, Spears was arrested on March 4 for driving under the influence in Ventura, California. On April 12, she voluntarily checked into a rehab facility in Maine, and stayed for roughly three weeks.

The pop star later pleaded guilty to a wet reckless on May 4, accepting a sentence of one year of informal probation and 30 hours of alcohol school.

“A core group of family and friends are determined to put a stop to her baby plans,” continues the source. “Even if that means going down the legal route again.”
