Britney Spears had some dangerous fun on the road recently.
On Thursday, July 9, the 44-year-old was spotted sticking her head and upper body out of the sunroof of a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon while on the 101 Freeway, per photos obtained by TMZ. Spears let her blonde locks go with the wind and donned a printed dress.
The “Toxic” hitmaker was also photographed beaming in the passenger seat as a man in sunglasses and a hat drove. Additionally, she was seen getting out of the car and grabbing some things at a convenience store.
A source told TMZ the Grammy Award winner is “doing well” and that in Louisiana, this is considered “good clean fun.”
Following the arrest, on April 12, Spears voluntarily checked into a rehab facility in Maine and spent about three weeks there, per TMZ.
On May 4, Spears’ lawyer accepted a “wet reckless” deal on her behalf, meaning she pled guilty to a reckless driving charge instead of DUI, according to Page Six.

“Through her plea today, Britney has accepted responsibility for her conduct,” Spears’ attorney Michael Goldstein said in a statement per Page Six. “She has taken significant steps to implement positive change which is clearly reflected in the Ventura County District Attorney’s decision to reduce the charge in this case and dismiss the DUI. Britney appreciates this discretion and is also grateful for the outpouring of support she has received.”
Spears was sentenced to one year of informal probation and is required to complete 30 hours of alcohol school.
