Lori Loughlin Returns to Instagram After Seven Year Silence With ‘Full House’ Reunion

After years away from social media, Lori Loughlin is finally back, and her return came with a heavy dose of nostalgia.

The Full House alum, 62, made her Instagram comeback on Monday, August 31, by sharing a playful video featuring several of her former costars.

John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, Andrea Barber and Dave Coulier all joined the fun, appearing with cups of coffee as they recited Loughlin’s famous Full House catchphrase, “Wake up San Francisco.”

Loughlin then appeared as her character Rebecca Donaldson, lip-syncing a playful exchange welcoming herself back to the show.

The reunion became especially poignant when footage of the late Bob Saget also appeared, showing him reciting the phrase.

Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the classic sitcom, died in January 2022 at age 65.

Fans quickly took to the comments section to welcome Loughlin back after her lengthy absence.

Loughlin deleted her social media accounts in March 2019 as the college admissions scandal became public.

She and then-husband Mossimo Giannulli were accused of paying $500,000 to secure their daughters Olivia Jade and Bella‘s admission to the University of Southern California as athletic recruits.

In May 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the scheme. Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison and was released in December 2020.

Giannulli served a five-month prison sentence from November 2020 to April 2021.
