Kelly Clarkson ‘Can’t Seem to Meet the Right Guy,’ Asks Famous Friends to Play Matchmaker (Exclusive)

Matchmaker, matchmaker, make Kelly Clarkson a match!

According to a source, the daytime talk show host, 43, has had zero luck meeting Mr. Right all by herself, so she’s leaning on famous friends to set her up with someone special.

“Kelly has never felt this confident in her life. She looks fantastic, her career is on fire and yet, she can’t seem to meet the right guy,” the source tells Star. “That’s why she’s decided to ask everyone she knows for help.”

And she’s not being half-hearted about it, either.

The American Idol alum, who has two children — daughter River Rose, 11, and son Remington, 9, — with her late ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, “made a whole list of what she’s looking for,” reveals the source, “and texted that to a bunch of people,” including her former mother-in-law Reba McEntire and old mentor Simon Cowell.

“Kelly didn’t spam everyone she knows,” the source adds. “She just chose trusted people.”

As for what the single mom is looking for in a potential partner, “Ideally, Kelly wants a guy who has kids already, so she can see his dad skills in action,” says the source. “She doesn’t care about his job one bit. She’s very down-to-earth that way and has no qualms about spending her money if they aren’t pulling in the kind of income she has.”

With an estimated net worth of $50 million, “Kelly has more money than she will ever need,” the source notes. “She doesn’t want that to be a block to finding love.”
