‘Heated Rivalry’ Star Hudson Williams Attempts to Set Photo of Himself on Fire After Fans Follow Him

There was a heated rivalry brewing between Hudson Williams and a couple of people in Paris.

The 25-year-old — who rose to fame as a breakout star on the LGBTQ+ hockey drama Heated Rivalry — appeared to be followed by people in Paris over the weekend asking him to sign his headshots.

In video obtained by news.com.au on Monday, July 13, Williams can be seen getting out of a car and addressing the group of autograph seekers. “Guys, you just followed me to my residence,” Williams claimed.

After someone in the group continued to ask Williams for his autograph, the actor yelled “No,” before throwing a pen in the air.

“You can’t do this,” Williams said, adding that what they were doing is “weird.”

“You guys aren’t fans,” he claimed. “You’re being really creepy, and you just followed me, OK? You don’t do this.”

Williams then proceeded to take a lighter to his photo to burn it.

“Leave, I want to watch you. Hop on your little bike,” he told the people surrounding him.

Even after the Heated Rivalry star walked away, the men continued to follow and film him, leading to an expletive-filled exchange.

The Canadian actor, who appeared to be with girlfriend Katlyn Larson, was in France for Paris Fashion Week.

Williams plays Shane Hollander opposite Connor Storrie‘s Ilya Rozanov in the popular gay romance, which follows their relationship over the course of many years as they play for rival hockey teams.

Based on author Rachel Reid‘s Game Changers novel series, the first season of Heated Rivalry premiered on Crave in November 2025 and was picked up by HBO Max, where it became a viral sensation.

The series was quickly renewed for a second season, and actors Williams and Storrie began to make headlines for their palpable onscreen chemistry and adorable offscreen friendship.
