Karlie Kloss Weighs in on Taylor Swift’s Wedding After Attending Following Alleged Estrangement

After weeks of speculation surrounding her appearance at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding, Karlie Kloss has finally weighed in.

During a Tuesday, July 28, appearance on Today, Kloss, 33, was asked if Swift’s big day was “special.”

“Listen, I try to protect the privacy of my friends’ personal lives,” the longtime Victoria’s Secret model replied. “But what I will say is that they’re an amazing couple and I’m so happy for them.”

On the day of Swift and Kelce’s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, Kloss and her husband Joshua Kushner were photographed stepping out dressed to the nines as other celebrities made their way to the couple’s nuptials. TMZ reported Kloss had scored an invite, however, days later, she dodged a question, per DeuxMoi, about the event.

Kloss and Swift, 36, were once seemingly inseparable during their high-profile friendship, but rumors began to swirl in 2017 about a possible falling out. Around that time, the Grammy winner didn’t include the super model’s name on a T-shirt featured in her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video which listed many of Swift’s close friends, including Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez and more.

However, Kloss attempted to squash the rumors in March of the following year during an interview with The New York Times.

“Don’t believe everything you read,” she told the publication.

Swift and Kelce, also 36, are believed to have tied the knot in front of approximately 1,000 people. Details about the nuptials have been sparse aside from a statement given by the “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” singer’s rep.

“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” Swift’s spokesperson told People hours after they wed. “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”

The rep added that neither the Super Bowl champ nor Swift had bridesmaids or groomsmen. Kelce opted for his older brother, Jason Kelce, to stand beside him as Best Man and Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, was her Man of Honor.
