Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Are Officially Married

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have entered a new era.

The pop star and the Kansas City Chiefs player, both 36, are married after officially tying the knot on July 3, 2026 at Madison Square Garden.

Last summer, Swift revealed that they were engaged after two years of dating, with their social media announcement immediately going viral.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” she captioned photos of their engagement shared to Instagram on August 26, 2025.

The “Anti-Hero” singer and the New Heights podcaster have been breaking the internet with their whirlwind romance ever since the two were first romantically linked in September 2023.

The now-defunct website The Messenger broke the news that the pair were “quietly hanging out” before Swift confirmed the exciting news on September 24, 2023, by showing up to her first Kansas City Chiefs game.

Since then, their relationship became a cultural touchpoint with news outlets documenting every time Swift showed up to support her significant other at his football games as well as Kelce’s appearances at her record-breaking Eras Tour.

In an interview with Time magazine, Swift revealed how she first reconnected with the professional athlete.

“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” she told Time, referring to an episode of New Heights where Kelce complained in jest that he was unable to speak with Swift following one of her concerts and joking he wanted to give her his phone number. “We started hanging out right after that.”

Kelce gushed over the “Cruel Summer” singer in an interview with WSJ Magazine, praising her love for family.

“Everybody knows I’m a family guy,” he said. “Her team is her family. Her family does a lot of stuff in terms of the tour, the marketing, being around, so I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley.”

When the Life of a Showgirl artist appeared on The Graham Norton Show last year, Swift teased how she was ironing out the details for their special celebration.

“I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount [of invites], and people are on the bubble,” she said, referring to guest lists that have to be limited to only close friends and family.

“You have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there,” she said of potential guests. “I’m not going to do that.”

An insider previously told Star, “There’s not a shred of doubt in Taylor’s mind that this is the one and only time she’ll ever tie the knot,” so having a “big bash” is a “no-brainer.”
