Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s Marriage in Trouble: ‘There’s Only So Much She Can Put Up With’

Almost two years after getting arrested for driving under the influence, Justin Timberlake’s string of bad luck has continued to cause problems – especially in his marriage to Jessica Biel, according to a new report.

“Rumors have been swirling for ages that Justin and Jessica’s marriage could be headed for trouble,” a source told the Daily Mail in an article published on Wednesday, March 25. “His last tour was a near disaster, and his acting career has waned, while Jessica is working on one project after another as an actress and producer.”

The “Sexy Back” singer, 45, has run into several issues over the last few years. In 2019, photographs of Timberlake and his Palmer costar, Alisha Wainwright, holding hands in New Orleans surfaced online. The following year, he found himself at the center of backlash after complaining about how hard “24-hour parenting” was in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Timberlake also ran into several issues during his 2024 world tour and announced he was diagnosed with Lyme Disease that same year. All of these problems have apparently compounded and “pushed [Biel] to the edge.”

“There’s only so much she can put up with,” the source explained to the publication.

A second source added, “Justin and Jessica have had a bumpy marriage, and spending time together hasn’t always been at the forefront for them – which obviously puts a strain on a relationship. His DUI and Lyme Disease issues haven’t helped either.”

Earlier this month, bodycam footage from Timberlake’s arrest was released and went viral online. In the video, the “Cry Me a River” artist complained that he was “being treated like a criminal” and said that the sobriety tests were “like, really hard.”

While his lawyers attempted to block the release of the footage by suing the Sag Harbor Police Department, they weren’t successful, per the Daily Mail.

However, despite Biel’s frustrations, Timberlake allegedly wants their marriage to work.

“If they ever were to break up and get divorced, it would not be on his watch,” the source said. “It will be because Jessica wants it. He never wants to lose her, and he’d rather be in a miserable relationship with her with the chance of making it great again over divorce. So, yes there is and has been strain, but he shows up.”
