Justin Timberlake’s battle to stop the public release of police body camera footage from his 2024 DWI arrest in Sag Harbor, New York, is taking a physical and emotional toll on him, a source tells Star.
“Justin does not handle stress well and this is by far the biggest crisis he has ever faced,” the source says of the “Cry Me a River” singer, 45. “His anxiety is so bad, it’s giving him constant stomach cramps. He’s barely eating or sleeping. It’s brutal.”
Despite rumors of tension in their marriage, wife Jessica Biel has done her best to help, the source says: “She’s trying everything from having him do deep breathing techniques and meditation to baking him his favorite cake and signing him up for hypnosis sessions with her healer.”
But nothing seems to be working, admits the source, much to the dismay of the 44-year-old actress. “She’s telling people she’s never seen him this low. It’s very upsetting for her.”

Timberlake “takes his public image so seriously,” notes the source, and is “mortified at the idea of people seeing him at his lowest moment.”
As Starpreviously reported, the former boybander’s legal team filed a court petition on Monday, March 2, alleging that the body camera footage depicts him “in an acutely vulnerable state.”
They also claim it captures “intimate details” of Timberlake’s “physical appearance, demeanor, speech and conduct during field sobriety testing” as well as his arrest and confinement.
“It feels beyond invasive and he’s told his lawyers to stop [the release] no matter what it takes,” says the source. “But this is not a slam dunk and he knows it so he’s completely panicked.”
