Justin Baldoni’s Wife Emily Appears to Shade Blake Lively While Celebrating Their Wedding Anniversary

Emily Baldoni seems to be making light of some of the drama her husband, Justin Baldoni, dealt with during his legal battle against Blake Lively.

On Monday, July 27, Emily, 41, posted a black-and-white snap of the Jane the Virgin star, 42, lifting her on their wedding day in honor of their 13th wedding anniversary.

“Marriage: still my favorite lift. 😜,” she joked in the caption. “Thirteen, baby!!”

Emily appeared to throw shade at Lively in her caption. In the A Simple Favor star’s December 2024 lawsuit against Justin, she claimed that during filming of It Ends With Us, he spoke to her fitness trainer behind her back and suggested she should lose weight, according to People.

However, Justin’s legal team insisted that he talked to the trainer so he could know her weight to prepare for when he lifts her in the movie, as he has back issues, People reported.

Fans took to the comment section of Emily’s post praising her sense of humor.

Justin shared a photo of him and Emily dancing at their wedding on his Instagram.

“13 years later… we’re still dancing. ❤️ Happy anniversary, my love,” he captioned the snap. “I’m pretty sure this was the exact moment my pants ripped open. 😂#FinallyTeenagers.”

As Star previously reported, Justin’s Wayfarer Studios and Lively, 38, settled in May. At that point, all of Lively’s claims alleging sexual harassment from Justin had already been thrown out by the judge in April.

In June, Emily and Justin — who share daughter Maiya, 11, and son Maxwell, 7 — broke their silence on the legal saga for the first time, speaking in a joint video on Instagram.

“We’ve had to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many things, like, how could something like this even happen?” Emily remarked in the clip. “Let alone disguised as a fight for women. So much to unpack. And the reality is that there’s been a lot of trauma for us to move through as a family, which also makes it hard to speak.”
