Gigi Hadid Is ‘Encouraging’ Bradley Cooper and Ex Leonardo DiCaprio to ‘Mend Their Friendship’

Leonardo DiCaprio and Bradley Cooper are ready to bury the hatchet, reveals a source, and they’ve got the blessing of the woman who allegedly came between them: Gigi Hadid.

“People forget they were like brothers, and then they had this falling out and haven’t spoken since,” the source tells Star. “Leo would never admit that Bradley dating Gigi and breaking the so-called bro code has anything to do with it, but it’s pretty obvious that was at least a part of the issue.”

DiCaprio, 51, dated Hadid, 31, on and off for a year before their romance finally “fizzled” out in September 2023, per People. A month later, the supermodel was spotted leaving New York City’s Via Carota restaurant with Cooper, 51, and the pair have been together ever since.

“Everyone knows Leo has a lot of pride,” the source shares. “Things with Gigi didn’t end on a good note, so to have his close friend suddenly start dating her definitely bothered him.”

DiCaprio has since moved on with model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti — and Cooper and Hadid are rumored to have recently gotten married after they were both photographed in Paris on Monday, August 3 wearing wedding bands.

“[Leo’s] in a happy relationship and clearly Bradley and Gigi have a real connection, so now is the time to try and mend this friendship,” notes the source. “Gigi is encouraging it because she would love to see them revive this friendship.”

DiCaprio and Cooper “have so much history — they met before Bradley was even famous — [and] it seems a shame to let that die forever over something so silly,” the source says.
