While Bruce Jenner has slowly been transitioning from male to female, his family has, for the most part, avoided questions about the change. But, at Justin Bieber’s Comedy Central roast over the weekend, one of the Olympian’s daughters finally opened up about her dad’s decision.
“I love my dad,” Kendall Jenner stated backstage. “He’s always been there for me and my sisters. He’s a wonderful man. And just because he’s changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn’t make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he’s a man or a woman.”
The 19-year-old and her younger sister, Kylie, are Bruce’s only two biological children with Kris Jenner. He is also stepfather to her four children from a previous marriage, and dad to four other kids from his own former marriages.
Bruce’s transition is expected to be documented on a new E! series this summer, although some reports say production has halted following the fatal car crash he was involved in earlier this year.
