Taylor Swift’s Friend Group Is ‘Much Smaller’ as Fiance Travis Kelce Takes Center Stage

Taylor Swift‘s inner circle has reportedly gotten smaller, but it’s not because of any behind the scenes drama. According to a new report, the Grammy winner has been prioritizing quality time with Travis Kelce and keeping her social life more lowkey.

“They’re simply happiest together,” a source told Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack on Monday, June 1. “Given the choice, they’d pick a quiet dinner for two over a celebrity-packed party almost every time.”

The source added that Swift and Kelce, both 36, are each other’s “happy place” and that the two “already act like a married couple.”

The NFL star and Swift began dating in the summer of 2023 with Kelce popping the question two years later in August 2025. Since then, the couple has been attached at the hip.

“It sounds like a love song, but they genuinely love being alone together,” a separate source told the outlet. “They have plenty of friends, but most of the time they’d rather just spend time with each other.”

A third source noted that while the “Great American Dynasty” singer has previously been surrounded by a large group of friends, her relationship with Kelce has been her main focus lately.

“Taylor used to have a huge circle around her,” the source explained. “Now her world is much smaller, and Travis is at the center of it.”

In April, gossip blog Deux Moi reported that an alleged insider revealed that Swift and her longtime friend Zoë Kravitz were feuding after the pop star opted to not invite Kravitz, 37, to her wedding, per Page Six.

However, a separate source later told Page Six there was no truth to the rumors and the Blink Twice director would be in attendance after all.

Swift and Kelce’s guest list has been a hot topic of conversation since they got engaged with fans speculating which of the “Cruel Summer” artist’s friends would be invited.

As Star previously reported, Swift is wary of who to trust after details about her and the Kansas City Chiefs player’s upcoming nuptials were leaked.

“All the leaks that have happened so far have been incredibly disheartening,” a source exclusively told Star on May 28. “They’ve had to change venues and dates. It’s been such a monstrous headache, but even worse, it has left Taylor feeling very vulnerable. There are a lot of questions about who to trust.”

While there have been whispers of a July 3 wedding in New York City, no date, location or invite list has been confirmed by either Swift or Kelce.
