Ciara Miller is finally opening up about the Summer Housedrama that sent shockwaves through the Bravosphere.
More than two weeks after Miller’s close friend Amanda Batula and her ex-boyfriend West Wilson confirmed rumors that they are romantically involved, Miller, 30, spoke with Glamour for a cover story published Friday, April 17, about the pain she endured.
“It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,” Miller admitted. “To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10 [of Summer House, which is airing now on Bravo]. It’s a major mindf**k.”
Miller and Wilson, 31, dated during season 8 of Summer House — and at the time, Batula, 34, was married to fellow costar Kyle Cooke.
However, Wilson and Miller had ended things by December 2023, and the two butt heads over how he handled their split. As Batula’s relationship with Cooke, 43, began to unravel — leading to their own split earlier this year — the graphic designer and Wilson dropped the bomb that they were dating.

Miller explained she is speaking out in Glamour rather than on Instagram or elsewhere because “I want to do it in my way, in a way that feels more intentional than just a podcast or a comment under a picture.”
“Just know when something’s weird in your gut, there’s a reason,” she told the publication. “What’s done in the dark always comes to light. And sometimes you really don’t even have to do anything except sit back and let the universe handle it all.”
When asked whom she felt more betrayed by in the situation, Miller said, “At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy. Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can’t put anything past a man.”
“But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long,” she said. “I think that’s the craziest part.”
After Miller had defended Batula in multiple situations when it came to the drama she endured in her relationship with Cooke, she told Glamour, “And so to be disregarded in such a disrespectful way is…. Honestly, it’s…. I’m at a loss for words sometimes.”
As to how Miller is feeling now, she confessed, “It’s tricky,” adding that she is “just trying to make it to the reunion at this point.”
