Selena Gomez Annoyed Her Wedding Is Being Overshadowed By Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Engagement
Selena Gomez congratulated pal Taylor Swift on her recent engagement to Travis Kelce, sharing a pic from the 35-year-old’s proposal shoot captioned, “When bestie gets engaged.”
But an insider tells Star that the Only Murders in the Building actress, 33, is a little miffed that the pop princess’ big news has overshadowed her own upcoming nuptials to music producer Benny Blanco, 37.
“She’s desperate for her wedding to be this huge event, but now nobody’s really talking about it because they’re so fixated on Taylor and Travis,” shares the source. “Selena’s happy for Taylor, but it kind of sucks that she’s being relegated to B-list status.”
As Star has previously reported, Selena has been overwhelmed by wedding planning, so this may be related to those hiccups. “The whole process has been very stressful for her,” explains the insider. “As much as Selena loves Taylor, she’s envious because everything Tay touches seems so seamless.”
