Sami Sheen Reveals She’s Having Breast Implants Removed After Mysterious Illness: ‘Put Your Health First’

Sami Sheen went under the knife for a breast augmentation in November 2023, but roughly a year and a half later, the OnlyFans creator has decided to take them out.

“I’ve been experiencing health issues for nearly two years now with the weirdest symptoms and finally discovered that I have breast implant illness,” Sami, 21, shared via her Instagram Stories on Monday night, June 23. “[I don’t know] how I haven’t figured this out sooner, but I’m so happy I finally have an answer.”

According to BreastCancer.org, breast implant illness can refer to a “wide range of symptoms” that may occur after implant surgery, including trouble sleeping, joint and muscle pain, chronic fatigue, skin irritation, breathing problems, memory issues and more.

The eldest daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards revealed that her own symptoms included brain fog, joint pain, rashes, anxiety, temperature sensitivity, hair loss, headaches and many others.

She added that she was “hoping” to have her implants “removed ASAP,” and she even asked her followers to suggest “good explant surgeons” in the Los Angeles area.

“It’s definitely gonna be hard going back to this size, not only physically, but mentally,” she explained in a follow-up post. “I don’t want to at all but I know I’ll feel so much better once they are out. So, I guess it’s worth it.”

While she also talked about her surprising health discovery on her TikTok account, the model said she wanted to share it on Instagram as well to spread the word to anyone having similar issues.

“This is your sign to always put your health first,” she shared.

The Denise Richards & Her Wild Things star also explained to her followers that “not everyone who gets implants will get sick from them.”

“It’s definitely a flip of a coin, and I think I just got super unlucky, but I’m also very grateful that I am fortunate enough to get them removed,” she continued. “I feel awful for all of the women that experience this and are stuck with them, cause this illness is no joke.”

Sami has been open about having desired the plastic surgery procedure since she was a young child.

“I was 10 years old and like, ‘I can’t wait to have big boobs like my mom,’” she told Bustle in October 2023. “All my friends were getting boobs, and I was just like, ‘OK, when’s it my turn?’ I would always stuff my bra with socks and stuff.”

Earlier this year, during a social media Q&A, Sami also candidly shared specific details of her breast augmentation with fans.

“I got silicone,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “350 cc.”
