The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star recently told Bustle that she’s invested roughly $200,000 into her “physical appearance — and it was worth every penny.”
While Gay, 51, first started getting injected with Botox in her 30s and underwent two nose jobs, blepharoplasty, a tummy tuck and breast augmentation pre-fame, her Bravo debut in 2020 inspired the Surviving Mormonism host to take things to the next level.
“I just scrambled. I started doing more and more injections because I didn’t like the way I looked,” she revealed in the new interview, which was published on Wednesday, November 12. “It just got to the point where my face was unrecognizable.”

Since then, Gay — who said she’s lost approximately 30 pounds over the last three years, thanks to GLP-1s — has settled into a regular treatment routine that includes getting Botox, Sculptra, filler, facials and laser hair removal.
“I get everything for free,” noted the Beauty Lab + Laser owner. “I’m the guinea pig for any new service.”
If she did have to pay? “My bill would be $11,912 for the year so far,” Gay told Bustle. “But we have some Beauty Labbers who are there twice a week, and spend upwards of $8,000 a month.”
The single mother of three did splash out her own money on a new smile in 2024, though. “I paid cash,” she recalled of her veneers. “It was about 30 grand. I just feel so much better about my appearance now.”
