Prince Harry is a Toronto Blue Jays fan through and through!
In a Thursday, November 6, interview with CTV News, the Duke of Sussex, 41, expressed his regret for donning an L.A. Dodgers hat to Game 4 of the World Series last week.
“Oh, the L.A. Dodgers hat — hatgate. Well, firstly, I would like to apologize to Canada for wearing it,” he remarked.
“Secondly, I was under duress. There wasn’t much choice,” Harry admitted. “I was invited to the L.A. Dodgers box or the dugout by the owner himself. So, I was doing what I thought was the polite thing to do.”
The royal family member then pulled out a Blue Jays cap and proudly put it on, declaring, “I’m going to wear this from now on to make sure I don’t make any more of those mistakes.”

Besides feeling pressure from sitting in the Dodgers box, the Spare author explained another hilarious reason for donning the hat.
“When you’re missing a lot of hair on top and you’re sitting under flood lights, you’ll take any hat that’s available,” Harry confessed.
However, the Invictus Games founder — whose wife, Meghan Markle, is a Dodgers fan — said he was loyal to the team in the following games.
“So game five, game six, game seven, I was Blue Jays throughout,” he quipped. “Now that I’ve admitted that it’s gonna be really hard for me to return to Los Angeles. I’m very sorry to the Canadian public, devastated that the Blue Jays lost, but go Jays!”
