Will Arnett Asks Jason Bateman If He’s ‘Looking for Clicks’ as He Refuses to Answer Amy Poehler Question

Will Arnett did not want to answer a rather graphic question his buddy Jason Bateman asked him on the Monday, June 22 episode of their SmartLess podcast.

During the episode, the Ozark alum, 57, jokingly accused the 30 Rock actor, 56, and their cohost, Sean Hayes, of not being “real deep on manners.”

“Much more than you are,” Arnett insisted. “I don’t talk about potty stuff. I don’t pick my teeth.”

The former child star noted that he had also never witnessed his Arrested Development costar fart, and then asked him about his bathroom habits with his ex-wife, Amy Poehler, with whom he shares sons Archie, 17, and Abel, 15.

“Did you ever poo in front of Amy?” Bateman wondered.

“Are you looking for clicks?” Arnett replied. “Are you trying to get something that we can click around?”

Through laughter, Bateman admitted, “I always forget people are listening to this.”

“Wait, but hang on. You were married to her, had two kids. You guys never went to the bathroom in front of each other?” Bateman asked, to which Arnett — who was married to Poehler, 54, from 2003 to 2016 — responded, “I’m sorry. The question is, did I poo in front of Amy? And you’re saying that I don’t have manners? What are you talking about?”

“It’s not a good question. I refuse to answer it,” Arnett added. “I refuse to answer that. It’s none of your [explicit] business.”

Hayes, 55, turned the question back on Bateman, who explained he and his wife, Amanda, use separate toilets, “but if she needed to come in and ask me something important, she could and would.”

“I don’t know if I would do that to her,” he further confessed before joking that his sweetheart has never pooped. “I don’t know how. It’s amazing.”
