Meghan Markle was in a celebratory mood over the weekend — but fans have something to say about it!
On Saturday, November 1, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, took to her Instagram Story to share a black-and-white video of herself with Prince Harry, 41, and friend Kelly McKee Zajfen reacting to the Los Angeles Dodgers winning the 2025 World Series.
In the video, Meghan and Zaifen cheer loudly, and the With Love, Meghan star kisses the Duke of Sussex before hugging and jumping up and down with Zaifen.
The Spare author had a less joyful reaction because he was supposedly rooting for the Toronto Blue Jays, according to Zajifen, who reposted the video on her Instagram Story, writing, “Sorry H your team didn’t win but mine diiiiiiiiid. @dodgers I LOVE YOU!!!!”

However, social media users took to X, critiquing theSuits alum for posting what felt like a “staged” video.
“Nothing says ‘authentic’ like setting up a camera and jumping into the shot..” one person wrote.
“So she sets up the camera, to a staged (very sad attempt) at a celebration,” a second chimed in.
“Why does it always feel performative?” a third questioned.
“Yes because when I watch a game, I make sure I video myself,” a fourth penned. “Seriously.”
The royal couple have seemingly been following the World Series as they attended Game 4 on Tuesday, October 28, where the Dodgers played the Blue Jays. For the game, Harry and Meghan donned matching Dodgers hats, so it’s unclear what team the Invictus Games founder was cheering on.
