Sharon Osbourne is opening up about her decision to get a facelift — and why she doesn’t mind talking about plastic surgery. The Talk host debuted her new face on the season 10 premiere of the show. Then, on September 11, she talked about her recent procedure on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Kimmel, 51, complimented Sharon’s facelift and pointed out that a lot of people’s don’t come out as nicely. Sharon, 66, took some pot shots at other people’s plastic surgery.
“You know what it is?” she explained. “It’s just that it’s so popular now for men and women to get facelifts that there’s very few, really good surgeons and there’s so many people wanting to have it done that, odds are, you’re gonna get a dud.”
She said that some “people’s bone structure” doesn’t respond well to the procedure and leaves them looking strange. But she’s very happy with her results.

Sharon actually swore off plastic surgery completely in 2012. She explained, “I have been looking at pictures of myself recently since I started to lose weight and in a lot of shots, my face looks plastic and at certain angles. I was like, ‘Oh, dear. Oh, I should never have done that. Oh, that’s a bad one.’ So I’m like, ‘No more. No more abuse.’”

She also said her breast implants had given her some health issues. “One of them had burst, and all of it had gone into the wall of my stomach,” she explained at the time. “And one breast was different than the other.”

“It was five weeks today that I had my operation,” she told the audience. “I had my neck done, my jowls … He kind of pulled it from the top of my head and put an elastic band in it. But everything was just lifted up. So it looks more refreshed.”
