The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans have been wondering for months why Erika Jayne’s husband Tom Girardi and his $15 million lawsuit haven’t been featured on the show. A company is suing the 79-year-old for not paying back an enormous loan that they claim he used to “maintain Mr. Girardi’s lavish lifestyle and to keep his prominent law firm financially afloat.”
Erika, 47, has been tight-lipped about the case, and her plotlines on the show have focused narrowly on her life as an entertainer and her extravagant lifestyle. Fans have questioned why she keeps her personal life so secret, when her costars’ husbands are often front and center in the show’s drama.
In a new interview, the Pretty Mess author finally addressed her husband’s legal troubles and why she keeps their May-December romance off screen. Click through the gallery for all the info on Erika and Tom’s life together.
