Kim Kardashian has finally announced a new name for her shapewear collection. Earlier this summer, she revealed the line would be named Kimono; however, the 38-year-old was quickly and furiously slammed for appropriating the name of the traditional Japanese garment. Eventually, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star folded and decided to rename the line.

“My fans and followers are a huge inspiration to me – I’m always listening to their feedback and opinions, and am so grateful they shared their ideas for a new brand name,” she wrote in the announcement on August 26.

“After much thought and consideration, I’m excited to announce the launch of SKIMS Solutionwear™ coming September 10,” she said, revealing the new name.

“I love the idea that the pieces will be the closest thing to someone’s skin, skimming with amazingly soft and supportive fabrics which accentuate the best parts of our bodies,” she said. The line will run from XXS to 5XL, one size larger than she originally planned.
