Kim Kardashian’s shapewear line has been riddled with controversy from the moment she announced it. Fans were outraged that she named it Kimono, appropriating the name of the traditional Japanese garment for her collection. After tons of pressure, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star agreed to change the moniker. On August 26, she announced the new name, Skims. But now, one fan has come forward to take credit for coming up with the name — and she has the receipts!

Kim, 38, announced the new name on Monday. She wrote, “My fans and followers are a huge inspiration to me – I’m always listening to their feedback and opinions, and am so grateful they shared their ideas for a new brand name. After much thought and consideration, I’m excited to announce the launch of SKIMS Solutionwear™.”

“I love the idea that the pieces will be the closest thing to someone’s skin, skimming with amazingly soft and supportive fabrics which accentuate the best parts of our bodies,” the reality star explained.
