Kanye West and Drake have been feuding all summer. Things started to come to a head this weekend, when Nick Cannon put out a rumor that the real root of the drama was Drake sleeping with Kim Kardashian. The reality star had to step in and put the rumors to bed. Now, Kanye is using his infamous Twitter account with more benevolent aims, as he’s issued a public apology to the 31-year-old. Click through the gallery to see what he had to say.

Kanye, 41, started by posting a screenshot of Drake’s Instagram, which showed the rapper performing on his tour. He wrote, “Sending good energy and love to Drake and family and crew??? I haven’t seen the show in person but the images look incredible online.” The purple hearts were particularly notable since
he accused Drake of sending him purple devil emojis.

Kanye’s apology might not come with the best intentions, though. A new snippet of
French Montana’s song “No Stylist” was just released,
featuring Drake dropping a Kanye diss. Was Kanye just trying to get the verse changed?

He continued in the next tweet, “Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place … We were building a bond and working on music together.” He released Ye as a surprise on June 1, knowing Drake’s Scorpion was slated for June 29.
The "Jesus Walks" rapper tried to broker peace between the two. “I love you and I love Pusha and we all have an admiration for each other’s craft,” he said.
He concluded, “This is all Jedi level. I will be coming to your show within the next seven days to give love and be inspired by the art you have created.” It’s not clear what about this is “Jedi level.”
