The couple who has been married for seven years, and share 2-year-old son Isaiah were reportedly “living separate lives,” prior to Mike’s 5-month retirement and her freak accident which left her with 40-50 stitches. However, a source close to the pair now say they are trying for baby number two.

“Everyone around her knows she wants a big family, and they’re always trying for another baby,” the source said to US Weekly.

The baby news comes three months after; the singer had a gruesome fall, which left her with a broken wrist and 40-50 stitches in her face.

The American Idol star originally withheld the severity of her injuries from fans and later revealed on her website that she “might look a bit different,” because of it.
