After making waves with her Paris Fashion Week debut, Meghan Markle is attempting to forge a path into the fashion world. The Duchess of Sussex is pitching a bold plan to team up with Anna Wintour, a source exclusively tells Star.

“She’s totally buzzing from this trip and saying it couldn’t have gone any better as far as building connections and whetting her appetite for an exciting new chapter,” the source dishes. “Meghan was determined to put an end to her awkwardness with Anna.”

The source notes that it was “a huge deal” for Meghan, 44, to get into the good graces of the former Vogue editor, 75.

“She’s hoping they can sit down together in the very near future and cook up some business together. She’s convinced that with her drive and vision, coupled with Anna’s own experience and connections, they could totally clean up,” the source continued. “She’s very excited to be building some new A-list friendships too, and truly believes this is the start of something very special for her and her brand.”

Meghan made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week at the Balenciaga show on October 4, marking her first fashion week event outside of New York. She was spotted mingling with A-List stars including Anne Hathaway, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, FKA Twigs and Wintour.
